Ifedy Eze

Ifedy Ralph Eze, Esq is a highly accomplished and driven individual whose passion lies at the intersection of law, technology, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
He is recognised as a passionate ecosystem builder with strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

As a strategic thinker and problem-solver, Ifedy has been instrumental in the development and implementation of various projects aimed at driving growth and sustainability across multiple industries. He is well-respected within the Nigerian tech ecosystem and has played an active role in promoting the adoption of technology and innovation across various sectors. His entrepreneurial spirit and leadership skills have led to the successful establishment and management of several businesses. He has a track record of developing innovative solutions that empower clients to achieve their business goals.

Ifedy is the Managing Director of Founder Institute Lagos, the Lagos chapter of the world’s largest pre-seed accelerator. He is also the Co-Founder and Executive Director of IDEA Africa, a social enterprise whose mission is to support and catalyse the growth and development of impact-driven entrepreneurship across Africa. He previously served as a member of the Enugu State Steering Committee on Innovation, Science and Technology Roadmap, and founded the Anambra Innovation Technology and Entrepreneurship (AITECH) Network as a platform to support the growth and development of private sector operators in the Innovation Ecosystem in Anambra State. He sits on several Boards, including .ng Academy, the training institution of the Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NiRA). He is also a Research Councillor at the Wheeler Institute for Business and Development of London Business School.

He leads the team at Bridge4Scale Digital Innovation Hub (DIH)- a pioneer Nigerian DIH modelled after the Africa Europe Digital Innovation Bridge Network (AEDIBNet) hub models with support from GIZ and the European Union. In 2025, Ifedy was invited by the government of Ekiti State to serve on the Ekiti State Innovation, Science and Technology Research Advisory Council (EKISTRAC).

Ifedy is a lifelong learner who is committed to personal and professional development. An alumnus of the Law Faculty of the University of Nigeria and called to the Nigerian Bar, he holds certifications from Lagos Business School, George Washington University and Harvard Law School. Through his work at the Founder Institute, he has helped launch over 200 startups across the African startup ecosystem and actively mentors a number of early-stage startups across Africa in both advisory and board capacity. His career as a strategy and business development consultant includes completing assignments for numerous global and local institutional and corporate clients.
Ifedy has been recognised by the Ford Foundation for his work in Youth Employment and has previously been nominated for The Future Awards Africa. In 2022, he received the Global Startup Leadership Award from the Founder Institute. Under his leadership, Founder Institute Lagos has been consecutively recognised and awarded by the Lagos State Government as the Accelerator of the Year in 2023 and 2024.
