Osaretin Okao, widely known as “The Food Biz Doctor,” is a prominent Nigerian hospitality consultant and business coach specializing in the food industry. She is the Managing Director of Food Bizz Support Services, a consultancy firm that provides strategic business development, waste minimization, and profit optimization solutions for food entrepreneurs (foodpreneurs). Okao is also a certified health coach and a member of the Institute of Hospitality and the Royal Society for Public Health.

She has over 27 years of experience in catering and hospitality, spanning sectors such as inflight, school, hospital, and outdoor catering.
Before founding her own firm, she spent 15 years at Kots Catering Nigeria Limited, where she rose to the position of General Manager.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Botany from Lagos State University, a Master’s degree in Fisheries Science from the University of Lagos, and a Postgraduate qualification in Hospitality Management from IHTTI in Switzerland, where she graduated with the highest academic average.
